Faith that Rests Without Retreating
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." — Exodus 14:14
Stillness is often misunderstood as weakness. But Scripture tells a different story.
Stillness is not stepping back from the battle — it is standing firm while God moves. It is choosing trust over panic, obedience over control, peace over proving.
When God says be still, He is not asking us to disengage. He is asking us to stop striving in our own strength.
Today, you don’t have to solve everything.
You don’t have to rush clarity.
You don’t have to defend your calling.
Faith sometimes looks like quiet confidence — the kind that knows God is already at work, even when nothing looks finished yet.

Prayer
Lord, help me recognize the moments when stillness is faith, not fear. Teach me to trust Your timing, to release what I cannot control, and to rest in the truth that You are already fighting for me.
Amen
