God First Before the Noise
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Devotional Reflection:
Before the day begins…
Before the phone lights up…
Before the news, the emails, the worries, and the noise…
There is a quiet moment waiting.
In that still place, God is already present.
He is not waiting for us to bring Him our plans or our problems.
He is simply inviting us to come and be with Him first.
When we begin the day in stillness, something shifts.
The rush feels softer.
The worries feel smaller.
And our hearts feel steadier.
Putting God first doesn’t require a long prayer or perfect words.
Sometimes it’s just a whisper:
“Lord, I’m here.”
And that is enough.
Because when God is first, everything else finds its proper place.
Prayer:
Lord, before the noise of the day begins, help me find You in the quiet.
Steady my heart. Calm my thoughts.
Remind me that You are already present in every moment ahead.
Amen.
