Held Before the Day Begins
Scripture:
“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
— Psalm 121:8
Devotional Reflection:
Before the day asks anything of you…
Before the responsibilities begin…
Before the conversations, decisions, and worries arrive…
You are already held.
God is not waiting at the end of the day to see how you did.
He is present at the very beginning.
In the quiet of the morning, before the world starts moving, His care is already surrounding you.
You don’t have to gather your strength first.
You don’t have to prepare the perfect plan.
You don’t have to feel ready.
You simply have to remember:
You are not stepping into the day alone.
The same God who watched over yesterday is already watching over today.
He goes before you, walks beside you, and gently carries what feels too heavy to hold.
Before the day begins, you are already in His care.
And that changes everything.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for holding me before the day even begins.
When I feel unsure, remind me that You are already with me.
Steady my heart, guide my steps, and help me walk through today knowing I am never alone.
